On August 21, Fan Wen, Director of the Investment Promotion Office of the Optics Valley South Health Industry Park in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, along with Deputy Directors Shen Yalin and Wu Miao, and Deng Yi, General Manager of Wuhan Fosun Business Trading Co., Ltd., visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and discussion. Our Director of the General Administration Office, Wang Lu, and Wang Yue from the Marketing Department, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

Accompanied by Wang Yue from the Marketing Department, Director Fan and his delegation toured the Shenzhen Cell Valley smart exhibition hall, GMP-grade production and R&D laboratories, and quality management laboratories, gaining an initial understanding of Shenzhen Cell Valley's strategic positioning, core technologies, R&D team, product pipelines, and clinical application cases.

During the symposium, Director Wang Lu first provided a comprehensive introduction to Shenzhen Cell Valley, covering the current state of the cell therapy industry, the company's core retroviral vector technology, core technology team members, recent product developments, research and clinical application cases, and service platform construction. Subsequently, Director Fan Wen introduced the park's development layout, achievements, investment promotion policies, and future outlook. This year, Wuhan is comprehensively advancing the construction of a biopharmaceutical industry cluster, with the government leading the participation of hospitals, enterprises, and research institutions, aiming to build a globally competitive biopharmaceutical industry ecosystem. Currently, the park's core area has been completed, with multiple enterprises already settled in, and 600,000 square meters of industrial plant space has been built, ready for companies to move in with full facilities, with an expected settlement of over one hundred enterprises.
In the subsequent session, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on how to establish a cooperation mechanism between the Greater Bay Area and Central China in the cell therapy field. Regarding talent development, both parties emphasized the importance of talent cultivation and noted that Shenzhen Cell Valley, as a standing council member of the National Biotechnology Industry-Integration Community, has already established a mature full-process system for talent training within the industry.
This exchange deepened mutual understanding between the two parties. Both sides firmly believe that with the support of the two local governments, through integrating resources from hospitals, enterprises, research institutions, and other stakeholders to achieve platform sharing, new development opportunities will be brought to the healthcare and medical sectors of both regions.
