On August 14, a delegation from the Jingzhou Guangzhou Investment Promotion Office (hereinafter referred to as "Jingzhou Guangzhou Office") visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and discussion. The delegation included Director Huang Kai, Deputy Director Huang Xiangdong, Deputy Director Zhong Tianjun, and Deputy Director Su Jinlong of the Jingzhou Economic Development Zone Guangzhou Investment Promotion Office. Our Chairman, Shi Yuanyuan; Head of Marketing, Sun Rui; Head of Precision Medicine, Fu Yuchen; and Director of the General Administration Office, Wang Lu, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

Under the detailed guidance of Director Sun Rui, Director Huang and his team gained an initial understanding of Shenzhen Cell Valley's strategic positioning, the uniqueness of its core technologies, and its future development directions. Subsequently, through an on-site visit and in-depth inspection of our GMP-grade production and R&D laboratories and quality management system, Director Huang and his delegation acquired a more profound and comprehensive understanding of Shenzhen Cell Valley's system construction.

During the symposium, Chairman Shi Yuanyuan provided a detailed elaboration on Shenzhen Cell Valley's core technological advantages in the retroviral vector field, recent significant research achievements, and clinical application cases. Chairman Shi stated that Shenzhen Cell Valley's product pipeline is currently showing robust growth, with an increasingly rich and comprehensive product line. In independent R&D projects, the company has successfully achieved innovations in Human NK cell cryopreservation technology and optimized γδT cell upgrades, among other notable breakthroughs. Simultaneously, the company has engaged in in-depth collaborations with multiple domestic public tertiary hospitals in the CRO project domain, with these cooperative projects achieving significant progress in several key areas. Furthermore, as a standing council member of the National Biotechnology Industry-Integration Community, the company has established close cooperative relationships with multiple domestic universities and possesses a mature targeted talent cultivation system. By constructing multi-win cooperative models encompassing school-enterprise, hospital-enterprise, and government-enterprise partnerships, the company achieves resource sharing and complementary advantages. In recent years, Jingzhou City in Hubei Province has attracted considerable attention for its biopharmaceutical industry chain advantages, investment promotion projects, policy environment, and development prospects. To further drive development in this field, this meeting aims to establish a close cooperative model with local hospitals in Jingzhou, jointly building cell therapy centers and cell preparation centers to promote innovation and breakthroughs in the biomedical industry between Central China and the Greater Bay Area.

Director Huang Kai expressed high recognition and appreciation for Shenzhen Cell Valley's corporate construction and core technologies. He stated that Jingzhou City has a diverse and rich economic structure, encompassing pillar industries at the hundred-billion-yuan scale, including equipment manufacturing, light industry and construction, agricultural product processing, and pharmaceutical chemicals. Particularly in the pharmaceutical field, the city has over ten scale-up enterprises specializing in the production and R&D of chemical drugs, biologics, traditional Chinese medicines, hygiene materials, and medical supplies. Among these enterprises, eight have obtained drug production licenses, five have passed GMP certification, and two have been recognized as high-tech enterprises. Currently, Jingzhou has preliminarily established a full-chain biopharmaceutical industry development landscape. In this context, Director Huang Kai emphasized that cooperation and innovation are key to driving leapfrog development in the biopharmaceutical industry. Therefore, this meeting not only focuses on the joint construction of cell therapy and preparation centers with Shenzhen Cell Valley but also looks toward broader areas of cooperation, aiming to accelerate the translation and application of scientific and technological achievements and jointly promote the flourishing development of the biopharmaceutical industry by deepening school-enterprise, hospital-enterprise, and government-enterprise cooperation.

Both parties believe that by integrating resources and complementing each other's strengths, the two regions will effectively promote innovative development in the biopharmaceutical industry, injecting new vitality and growth points into the local economy. Both sides are committed to jointly advancing innovation and breakthroughs in the cell therapy field, contributing with greater effort to the progress of human health.
