During the symposium, Professor Shi Yuanyuan provided a focused introduction to Shenzhen Cell Valley's core technological advantages in retroviral vectors, recent research achievements, and clinical application cases. Professor Shi noted that Shenzhen Cell Valley has established substantial and comprehensive collaborations with multiple medical institutions. To date, the company has successfully produced GMP-grade CAR-T cell products targeting BCMA, CD19, CD19/CD22, CD7, CD38, and other targets, all based on retroviral vector technology. These products have demonstrated good safety and efficacy in clinical research, benefiting an increasing number of patients. Director Wu Yong highly recognized Shenzhen Cell Valley's production and R&D capabilities, as well as its quality management traceability monitoring system in the production of clinical-grade CAR-T cell products. He also pointed out that although monoclonal antibodies targeting CD19 and CD19/CD3 bispecific antibody products are currently available, their short halflife and the potential need for lifelong medication in severely ill patients make cell therapies such as CAR-T and CAR-NK revolutionary approaches that will inevitably transform the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

Professor Zheng Lemin from Peking University suggested that the three parties could initiate cooperation in cell therapy for cardiovascular and neurological diseases, starting with basic research and seamlessly transitioning to clinical translation. Director Wu Yong from Fujian Medical University Union Hospital expressed his intention to collaborate closely with Shenzhen Cell Valley, fully leveraging the company's strong R&D capabilities and GMP industrial-scale production capacity, along with the clinical advantages of Fujian Union Hospital, to jointly promote the clinical application of cutting-edge technologies such as cell and gene therapy.
