Recently, Du Peige, Vice President of Qingdao Binhai University; Yuan Shengli, Chief Physician of the Oncology Department at Qingdao Municipal Hospital; and Zou Shengcan, Chairman of Qingdao Chenlan Health Industry Group, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and discussion. Our Chairman, Shi Yuanyuan; Deputy General Manager, Tang Xiaomeng; Assistant to the Chairman, Wei Zheng; Head of Marketing, Sun Rui; Senior R&D Scientist, Fu Yuchen; and R&D Scientist, Yang Yiqing, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

First, led by Assistant to the Chairman Wei Zheng, the visiting leaders toured the Shenzhen Cell Valley exhibition hall, production facilities, and R&D laboratories—including the founder profiles, development history, honor wall, the history and trends of cell therapy development, the company's core technology displays, GMP-grade production laboratories, and quality control laboratories.

During the symposium, Chairman Shi Yuanyuan stated that university-enterprise and hospital-enterprise cooperation are critical forces driving technological innovation and result translation. Particularly in the healthcare sector, cell therapy, as a cutting-edge technology, requires deep technological expertise, stable production and quality management systems, and advanced industry innovation talent cultivation mechanisms to continuously provide momentum for both early-stage R&D and later-stage application. Shenzhen Cell Valley possesses world-leading engineered cell lines with fully independent intellectual property rights, the only domestic production process (PackRV-SS system), and a top-tier core technology team, providing solid technical support for pharmaceutical companies, medical institutions, and research organizations to achieve low-cost, high-quality services. At the same time, as a standing council member of the National Biotechnology Industry-Integration Community, the company is committed to becoming a cradle for professional talent in cell and gene therapy, helping China's related industries overcome the talent bottleneck.
Vice President Du Peige noted that the cell and gene therapy industry has been developing rapidly in recent years, driven by a series of favorable policies, and there is an urgent need for high-level industrial talent. After 12 years of construction and development, the School of Medicine at Qingdao Binhai University has established a relatively comprehensive educational system. To further advance the cultivation of applied medical talents, the university has built new schools of medicine and nursing. Vice President Du Peige expressed the hope to leverage Cell Valley's talent development advantages to jointly establish a precision medicine program centered on cell therapy. Director Yuan Shengli expressed the hope to jointly build research and translation platforms with Cell Valley, closely integrating basic medical research with clinical studies, and carrying out collaborative development of cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to bring hope to patients with complex and critical conditions. Chairman Zou Shengcan noted that the Qingdao West Coast New Area, with its unique policy advantages and favorable industrial environment, offers an exceptional opportunity for university-hospital-enterprise collaboration in building cell preparation centers. In this context, jointly building a cell preparation center can not only pool resources from all parties to advance the R&D and application of cell therapy technologies but also, leveraging the policy advantages of the free trade zone, open up the cell therapy industry chain in Qingdao and across China, driving the upgrading and development of the healthcare industry.
All parties agreed that university-hospital-enterprise cooperation is a vital pathway for advancing the development of the precision medicine and healthcare industry. By leveraging multi-party platforms and pooling resources from all sides, they will jointly promote the R&D and application of cell therapy technologies and work together to make greater contributions to the cause of human health.
