Recently, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Cell Valley, led a team to visit Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital affiliated with Tongji University, where he engaged in in-depth discussions with Professor Xu Jinfu's team on the scientific and clinical research applications of cell therapy in respiratory diseases. Sun Rui, Head of the Marketing Department, and Wei Zheng, Director of the General Administration Office, accompanied the visit.

Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital affiliated with Tongji University is one of China's leading specialist hospitals for respiratory diseases, equipped with advanced medical facilities and a top-tier research team. The hospital is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and research of respiratory system diseases, with significant progress in areas such as pulmonary infections, bronchiectasis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and asthma .

Professor Xu Jinfu is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education, and a Shanghai Leading Talent. He serves as Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Director of the Internal Medicine Teaching and Research Office, Discipline Leader of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and Director of the Tongji University Institute of Respiratory Diseases . Professor Xu has extensive clinical and research experience, particularly in the pathogenesis and treatment of cell therapy and respiratory diseases. He has led numerous National Natural Science Foundation projects, published a large number of high-impact research papers, and has work featured in top international respiratory journals such as Nature Immunology, European Respiratory Journal, and AJRCCM.

The purpose of this visit was to strengthen cooperation in cell therapy between the two parties and jointly advance the application of this frontier technology in respiratory diseases. Professor Shi Yuanyuan stated that cell therapy is an important direction for future medical development, and Shenzhen Cell Valley will continue to increase investment in this field, looking forward to closer collaboration with Professor Xu Jinfu's team.

Professor Xu Jinfu expressed strong affirmation of the cooperation, noting: "Shenzhen Cell Valley has deep technological accumulation in the field of cell therapy. This collaboration will help us achieve greater breakthroughs in the research and clinical application of respiratory diseases.
