On June 7, Academician Professor Yan Xiyun of the Chinese Academy of Sciences chaired the Major Key Project Review Meeting of the Central Plain Nanozyme Laboratory, a provincial-level laboratory in Henan Province. Our Chairman, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, was invited to attend as a project review expert. The review meeting was convened to support researchers in conducting in-depth, systematic innovative research and result translation, and to facilitate significant breakthroughs in important fields or scientific frontiers.

Shenzhen Cell Valley also submitted an application for a clinical research project on cell therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Dr. Zhao Lijun, Head of the R&D Department, served as the respondent, providing a detailed exposition of the project's background, feasibility analysis, technical roadmap, preliminary foundation, and anticipated objectives. The project aims to achieve a breakthrough in the treatment of AML through novel target identification and CAR design. In collaboration with Academician Yan's team, the project will span from basic research to clinical translation, integrating cutting-edge developments in biomedicine to achieve breakthroughs in original basic theoretical research and result translation, establishing a cell therapy hub in Central China and ultimately benefiting patients.

About the Central Plain Nanozyme Laboratory
The Central Plain Nanozyme Laboratory was established in October 2023, with Academician Yan Xiyun of the Chinese Academy of Sciences serving as its Director. The laboratory is led by the Henan Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhengzhou University, and Henan University, integrating scientific and technological resources from Henan Agricultural University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, and other higher education institutions and research institutes. Adhering to the principle of "complementary advantages," the Central Plain Nanozyme Laboratory aims to industrialize the production of nitrogen-fixing nanozymes through globally unique core technological pathways, establish world-leading basic research platforms for nanozymes, common technology R&D platforms, and technology enterprise incubation platforms. The laboratory strives to create a world-class nanozyme innovation hub, build an internationally renowned R&D, industrialization, application, and service base for biotechnology, and pioneer new pathways for the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry. In the future, it will incubate a number of nanozyme-related high-tech enterprises, dedicated to promoting the application of nanozyme technology for the benefit of the people.
