Brief News | Chairman Dr. Shi Yuanyuan Invited to Attend the 2023 Shenzhen International Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development Conference and Deliver a Keynote Speech

From July 27 to 29, the "2023 Shenzhen International Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development Conference," guided by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and jointly hosted by the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, the Pingshan District People's Government of Shenzhen, and the Dapeng New District Management Committee of Shenzhen, was held at the Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pingshan, Shenzhen. With the theme "Cross-Border Integration, Deep into the Future," the conference featured one closed-door pharmaceutical leaders' meeting, one keynote forum, and nine specialized thematic forums. The conference invited 13 renowned Chinese and foreign academicians from China, the United States, Russia, Canada, and Europe; presidents of 5 major IT giants; over 20 former FDA experts; and deans and professors from multiple academic and medical institutions including Shenzhen Third People's Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Biomedical Research Institute of Southern University of Science and Technology, and the School of Pharmacy of Shenzhen Technology University. Experts and leaders from various fields analyzed industry trends, provided insights into technological frontiers, guided innovative investment, and offered suggestions for the development of Shenzhen's biological industry.

In the Innovative Biologics Forum, Chairman Dr. Shi Yuanyuan delivered an excellent speech titled "Outlook for the Development of Cell Therapy and the Broader Health Industry." Dr. Shi Yuanyuan stated that under the combined influence of market, policy, and investment, China's broader health industry has entered a period of rapid growth. Fields including health management, specialized medical care, health and wellness, and biomedicine are developing rapidly.
