On August 8, Luo Wenzhi, Director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress, led a delegation to visit and survey Shenzhen Cell Valley to understand the company's production and operations and provide support for the development of the enterprise and the biopharmaceutical industry. Yang Jun, Secretary of the Pingshan District Committee, accompanied the survey. Dr. Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager of Shenzhen Cell Valley, extended a warm welcome and reported on Shenzhen Cell Valley's business situation, unique technical service advantages, and future development plans.
Accompanied by Dr. Shi Yuanyuan, Director Luo Wenzhi and his delegation toured the corporate smart exhibition hall, the viral vector and cell product GMP production workshops, and the GLP R&D laboratory, gaining an understanding of Shenzhen Cell Valley's core technology team, research achievements, products, and service application scenarios. Director Luo Wenzhi fully affirmed Shenzhen Cell Valley's commitment to solving the "bottleneck" technology in CGT drugs—the industrial-scale production of retroviral vectors—and providing pharmaceutical companies with full-industry-chain, full-cycle one-stop services for cell-based original drugs spanning "R&D – production – application – talent cultivation," empowering the development of the cell and gene therapy field.

Secretary Yang Jun stated that he would strongly support the CGT industry in becoming bigger and stronger in Pingshan District. He highly praised Cell Valley's construction progress and expressed the hope that Cell Valley would play a pivotal role in the clustering and development of the CGT industry chain in Pingshan.
In his report, Dr. Shi Yuanyuan mentioned that "Cells benefit all, genes create the future" is the original aspiration behind the founding of Shenzhen Cell Valley. Shenzhen Cell Valley has grown rapidly under the care of the Shenzhen and Pingshan District governments. Through cooperation with Shenzhen Polytechnic University, the National Engineering Research Center for Key Common Technologies in the Cell Industry, and others, it cultivates high-end production and R&D technical talent urgently needed by the cell industry for Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area. At the same time, it has established deep cooperation with the National Medical Products Administration Drug uation and Inspection Center (Greater Bay Area Branch), the Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control; Peking University, Tsinghua University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital and Peking University Shenzhen Hospital; and leading enterprises in the domestic cell industry including Lu Daopei Medical Group, Fosun Kite, Enkaisai Pharmaceutical, and Shenzhen Innova, providing IIT and IND application support services. Shenzhen Cell Valley is committed to transforming currently expensive CGT drugs into products that ordinary people can afford, truly benefiting cancer patients, safeguarding human life and health, and making greater contributions to promoting the development of Shenzhen's biopharmaceutical field.
Also participating in this survey were Tang Shukui, Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Dai Yi, Director of the Planning and Budget Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Zhou Hongmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; and leaders from relevant departments including the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Science and Technology Innovation Commission, the Health Commission, and the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau.
