On November 24, 2023, Chief scientist Professor Wang Jianxun attended the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Bio-Medicine National Competition in 2023 co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Central Cyberspace Administration Office and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Organizing Committee Office of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Beijing Guoke Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation Development Foundation and other units. A total of 37,243 enterprises registered for the competition in 37 regions across the country, including 5937 biomedical enterprises, 327 enterprises shortlisted for the biomedical national competition (249 growth groups; 78 start-up groups). With its breakthrough cutting-edge technology and comprehensive enterprise strength, Shenzhen Cell Valley successfully entered the national competition of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in September this year, and stood out from many contestants in the national competition and won the Excellent Enterprise Award. Only six of the 20 finalists in Shenzhen won awards.

The project presented by Shenzhen Cell Valley in this competition is "Establishment of industrial production system of cell drugs based on retroviral vector".
