Yang Guang, Chairman of China Meheco, Leads Delegation to Shenzhen Cell Valley for Inspection and Exchange

On May 28, 2026, a delegation led by Yang Guang, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of China Meheco Co., Ltd. (stock code: 600056), a subsidiary of the stateowned China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd., visited Shenzhen Cell Valley Biopharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. for site inspection and discussions. The two sides held indepth talks on topics including cell and gene therapy, clinical translation of emerging biomedical technologies, industrial platform development, and future areas of cooperation. The delegation from China Meheco included Zhang Lin, General Manager of the Strategy and Operations Department; Wang Wen'gang, General Manager of the Science, Technology and Innovation Department; Mei Mei, General Manager of the Medical Devices Business Division; and Li Jie, Deputy Head of the Biopharmaceutical Drug Institute Preparation Team. Representing Shenzhen Cell Valley Group were Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager; Professor Wang Jianxun, Chief Scientist; Song Youyong, Board Secretary; Wang Shaoqing, Chief Financial Officer; and Wei Zheng, Administrative Director.

During the visit, Chairman Yang Guang and his delegation toured the Cell Valley Group's smart exhibition hall and GMP production workshop, gaining a detailed understanding of the group's technological layout, platform development, clinical translation, and industrialization progress in the cell and gene therapy field. Professor Shi Yuanyuan highlighted the group's core technological advantages in areas including retroviral vectors (RVV), lentiviral vectors, engineered eVLP pseudoviral delivery systems, exosomes, and CART/CARNK, as well as the onestop public service platform system the company has built around "clinical research and clinical translational application of emerging biomedical technologies."

During the symposium, the two sides engaged in indepth exchanges on national biomedical industry policy trends, development opportunities in the cell and gene therapy industry, hospital clinical research collaboration models, pathways for industrializing innovative technologies, and international expansion.

Chairman Yang Guang stated that China Meheco places great emphasis on the development of frontier biomedical fields such as cell and gene therapy. He expressed hope for further strengthened communication and coordination with the Cell Valley Group, exploring opportunities for cooperation in research collaboration, industrial synergy, platform development, and market expansion, working together to promote the highquality development of China's biomedical industry.
