Wuhan Qiaokou District Leadership Visits Shenyang Cell Valley for Inspection and Exchange – Advancing the Construction of Qiaogang Cell Valley and Exploring New Pathways for Regional Platform Cooperat

Recently, Lu Cuiling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Qiaokou District People's Congress, Led a Delegation to Shenyang Cell Valley for Inspection and Exchange.The delegation focused on discussions around the construction of a onestop service platform for emerging biomedical technologies, clinical translation of cell and gene therapy, regional industrial coordination, and the advancement of the Qiaogang Cell Valley project.

The Qiaokou District leaders and representatives from relevant units participating in the inspection included: Lu Cuiling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Qiaokou District People's Congress; Luo Xi, Deputy Director of Hanjiadun Subdistrict; Li Jin, Deputy General Manager of the District Urban Construction Group; Yu Chunbo, Director of the Investment Planning Department of the District Health Industry Task Force; and Pan Lingzhuang, Head of the District's Investment Promotion Squad in the Greater Bay Area. Zhu Wenxiang, General Manager of Shenyang Cell Valley, and Wang Lei, Marketing Director, hosted the reception and participated in the symposium.

Shenyang Cell Valley is a onestop service platform for emerging biomedical technologies, established as a holding subsidiary of the Cell Valley Group in joint venture with the stateowned Zhongdekai Group, a Shenyang municipal asset platform. The company was registered and established in March of this year in the Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and is currently undergoing construction and renovation. Leveraging the Cell Valley Group's experience in cell and gene therapy, vector manufacturing, GMP quality systems, hospital clinical research services, and industrial operations, the platform is exploring a model of "Cell Valley Group holding + local stateowned capital collaboration + regional hospital resource integration."

During the inspection, the Qiaokou District leaders focused on understanding the construction progress, cooperation mechanisms, platform positioning, and operational pathways of Shenyang Cell Valley. Both sides agreed that the experience gained from the implementation of Shenyang Cell Valley provides valuable reference for the Cell Valley Group's planned establishment of the "Qiaogang Cell Valley" project in Qiaokou District, helping to accelerate the construction of a public service platform for emerging biomedical technologies in Qiaokou and promoting the clustering of highquality projects, technology platforms, and industrial resources in the district.

Deputy Director Lu Cuiling noted that Qiaokou District places high importance on the development of the life and health industry. The district boasts highquality medical resources including Tongji Medical College and its affiliated Tongji Hospital, providing a solid foundation for developing cell and gene therapy, clinical research, and result translation of emerging biomedical technologies. She expressed hope that both sides would take this inspection as an opportunity to further strengthen engagement, deepening practical cooperation on the implementation of the Qiaogang Cell Valley project, joint platform development, hospital resource coordination, and the introduction of an industrial ecosystem.

This inspection and exchange further deepened the mutual trust and cooperation foundation between Wuhan's Qiaokou District and the Cell Valley Group, and laid a solid groundwork for subsequently accelerating the implementation of the Qiaogang Cell Valley project in Qiaokou District and establishing a regional public service platform for clinical translation of emerging biomedical technologies.
