On July 22, Qian Yi, Head of the Southern Medical University Pingshan Working Group and President of Pingshan Hospital; Pan Weibing, Party Committee Member and Vice President; Yan Tonghai, Party Discipline Committee Member and Head of Operations Management; and Zhang Yang, Head of the Science and Education Department, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and discussion. Our Chairman, Professor Shi Yuanyuan; Deputy General Manager, Tang Xiaomeng; Assistant to the Chairman, Wei Zheng; Head of R&D, Zhao Lijun; Director of the General Administration Office, Luan Zhishi; and Senior R&D Scientist, Yang Yiqing, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

Led by Assistant to the Chairman Wei Zheng, President Qian Yi and his delegation first toured the Shenzhen Cell Valley smart exhibition hall, gaining an initial understanding of the technical principles and clinical application cases of gene-modified and non-gene-modified immune cell therapy technologies. Subsequently, they conducted an in-depth inspection of our GMP-grade production and R&D laboratories and quality management system, and expressed high appreciation for Shenzhen Cell Valley's high standards and quality construction.

During the symposium, Chairman Shi Yuanyuan stated that Shenzhen Cell Valley has recently established substantial and comprehensive collaborations with multiple hospitals in CAR-T clinical treatment. To date, the company has successfully produced GMP-grade CAR-T cell products targeting BCMA, CD19, CD19/CD22, CD7, CD38, and other targets. Southern Medical University possesses significant advantages in medical research, teaching, and clinical care, particularly distinguishing itself in international medical services and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He expressed hope that, through shared platform resources and leveraging Southern Medical University's strong disciplinary talent base, both parties could jointly build a new pattern of coordinated high-quality development in medical care, education, and research.

President Qian Yi stated that Southern Medical University Pingshan Hospital aims to become a regional medical hub in eastern Shenzhen, vigorously promoting the transformation of its affiliated hospitals from district-level hospitals to directly affiliated tertiary hospitals of higher education institutions. Today, with cell therapy entering an era of rapid development, this visit was intended to engage in in-depth exchanges with Cell Valley's cell therapy product R&D team, jointly discussing the latest technological developments and trends in the medical field. Through resource sharing and complementary advantages, both parties seek to identify cooperation areas and key directions in technology R&D and product innovation, jointly promoting integrated development in related fields.

Looking ahead, both parties expressed the hope that Southern Medical University Pingshan Hospital and Shenzhen Cell Valley could work together to create a comprehensive and refined new model of hospital-enterprise cooperation, jointly contributing to the advancement of clinical applications in cell therapy.
