On the afternoon of March 7, 2024, a delegation from Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, including President Zhu Meiling, Vice President Chen Sheng, Director of Oncology Yang Zhenjiang, Director of Respiratory Medicine Xie Wei, Director of Gastroenterology Guo Shaoju, and Director of the GCP Office Liu Yu, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley. Our Chairman, Shi Yuanyuan; Chief Scientist, Wang Jianxun; and Deputy General Manager, Tang Xiaomeng, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

First, accompanied by Professor Shi Yuanyuan, the Shenzhen TCM Hospital leaders toured the smart exhibition hall, production workshops, and R&D laboratories, gaining an initial understanding of the development background, corporate strength, product pipelines, and strategic layout of Shenzhen Cell Valley and its subsidiaries.

During the symposium, Professor Shi Yuanyuan extended a warm welcome to President Zhu Meiling, Vice President Chen Sheng, and their delegation. Head of Marketing, Sun Rui, provided a detailed overview of Shenzhen Cell Valley's core technologies, innovative achievements, and successful clinical cases in cell and gene therapy. Professor Shi noted that Shenzhen Cell Valley, as a one-stop service provider for cell and gene therapy solutions, offers clients full-process, professional, and efficient end-to-end industry chain services—from early-stage R&D, vector design, and viral production to cell manufacturing and regulatory application support. The company fully leverages the advantages of retroviral vectors in the industrialization of cell therapy drugs, providing innovative approaches for advancing basic research and clinical treatment, and delivering transformative solutions for the treatment of cancer and rare diseases.
President Zhu Meiling expressed high recognition of Shenzhen Cell Valley's achievements in research and clinical applications. She noted that cell therapy, as an emerging modern biomedical technology, is driving a paradigm shift in treatment represented by precision medicine, offering new strategies for the treatment of various diseases including cancer. She suggested that combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with cell therapy could exert synergistic effects, enhancing therapeutic outcomes and reducing adverse reactions, thereby further promoting its broad clinical application.
The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern medicine, joint project applications, and the establishment of a TCM-cell therapy platform, laying a solid foundation for future collaborative clinical research. They committed to working together to provide patients with more high-quality, precise, and efficient medical services.
